I am a media studies scholar of gender, race, and transnationalism. My research centers on queer and trans cultures, activism, and digital media in China and the Asian diaspora.
Currently completing my PhD at Penn State, I will join the Department of Communication & Film at the University of Memphis as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2025.
